  1. Hi Heather! I was just looking at your research project and we struggle with our economically disadvantaged kiddos as well. Fountas and Pinnell is an excellent resource for assessing reading levels and reading inventories. I am not familiar with the Star Program however. One thing I noticed is that you don't mention a literature review. Do you have data to support the Star Program? I like how you have a mid year check in point with your teams and principal. Good luck to you. I will be following your progress.
